Eugene Blanton – Founder & Principal

Eugene W. Blanton is the Founder and CEO of Landmark Enterprises.  Under his oversight, Landmark has developed and owned 65 office, industrial, and hospitality projects comprising over 1 million square feet.

Throughout his career, Mr. Blanton has acted as a location consultant in all facets of commercial real estate.  He draws upon the resources of three of the most prestigious international real estate organizations: RICS, CRE, and SIOR.  Prior to founding Landmark, Mr. Blanton spent a decade in economic development and successfully recruited over $2.5 billion in new capital investment to the Charleston region.

Mr. Blanton retired as a Commander after 24 years of Naval Reserve service, where he managed Reserve Units involved in communications intelligence and communications security.  He holds an MBA from Southern Illinois University and a BA in Geology from the University of South Carolina, and has successfully completed many senior officer Navy schools, such as the Armed Forces Staff College and the Defense Intelligence School.
